Proposal Budget Recommendations:
The rates for FY 2008 have changed based on under- or over-recovery of fringe benefits in FY 2006. Since rates are adjusted each year based on actual costs from two years earlier, it is quite possible that they will continue to increase in the future. To accommodate this possibility, please use the following rates in proposal budgets for projects that start on or after July 1, 2008.
| Type of Appointment | FY 09 |
|---|---|
| Faculty (9 and 12 month appointments/direct and release time) | 25.0% |
| Faculty specials (off-duty quarter and overload) | 15.0% |

| Classified civil service and type 2 wages | 34.0% |
